Find out where the VIM for 3ds Max plugins are installed

The per-year 3ds max importer binaries are installed in the user's AppData folder:

  • "C:\Users\_username_\AppData\Local\VIM\3dsMaxBridge\_year_\"

  • The "bootstrap" maxscript file is installed in the user's Autodesk 3ds max per-year startup folder:

    • "C:\Users\_username_\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\_year_ - 64bit\ENU\scripts\startup\LoadVim.ms"

The _year_ values we support are: 2019-2023

If the user is running a non-English version of 3ds Max, the "ENU" needs to be switched according to the language the user is running.
