In VIM for Windows you can quickly and easily access your BIM data and explore the 3D rendered project.

Displaying the Project Inspector

To view the BIM data in your project, choose either of the following options:

  • Click the Project Inspector icon on the VIM toolbar. This opens the Project Inspector Panel on the left side, where you can explore all of the BIM data.

  • Right-click on any object and choose Inspect. This opens the Project Inspector Panel, highlighting the BIM data related to the selected object.

Displaying the Mesh Stats window

To view the mesh statistics data in your project, click the Mesh Stats icon on the VIM toolbar.

Select an element row in the Mesh Stats window to highlight the object in the current view. Enable the Synchronize Camera option to zoom and center the object within the 3D view.
